Christine's career in accounting began in 1998 when she commenced the Advanced Diploma of Accounting. She has continued on with various accounting units at uni and other courses.

She founded her bookkeeping business in 1999, and has continued to service her own loyal clientel whilst also gaining valuable work experience in various accounting firms, large not for profits and small business. Because she is a small business owner she can feel your pain and understand some of your struggles because she has been there and has learned strategies along the way that will help you! Because she has also worked in accounting firms with tax agents, she understands their language and is efficient at ensuring that you have everything in order for them. Not for profits have provided a lot of experience with fringe benefits, grant applications and acquittals, budgeting, governance, fundraising, and more. She continues to run her accounting business while facilitating taxation services as a division through HTA Taxation Services Pty Ltd and Tax Agent Pathway Pty Ltd

Of course, there is more to life than work and business, Christine is a friendly person with many interests. She lives in a rural part of the Channel on a small hobby farm and has a passion for growing and preserving her own produce. When she is not busy with work, you will more than likely find her outside in the garden, preserving or baking in the kitchen, or out and about walking her dogs (she has white German Shepherds). Music is another passion of hers - she has been known to play the clarinet, guitar and taught piano for beginners.

Christine has always been community minded and in the past has volunteered her time and services to local community organisations. Some of her roles have been:

• Volunteer firefighter for 10 years

• Treasurer and board member of the Kingborough Community Enterprise Centre

• Treasurer and past committee member of Channel Living Inc

• Past Member of the Salvation Army Community Care Ministries team - grief counsellor and carer, and Area Captain for the Red Shield Appeal.

She is a hands-on, down-to-earth family person who genuinely cares about her client's business needs.
